Alluvia was born out of drive and a passion to break the mold in integration. With a focus on implementing ERP systems, our goal was to revolutionize the way integration is performed.
While my career began in business software consulting, I also had an innate desire to understand how things work. I was always learning, reading manuals and technical publications to better understand the ‘how’ and ‘why’ behind processes. In my consulting work, I eventually came to focus on implementing ERP systems, and I stumbled upon a roadblock – my clients hit several challenges while integrating an ERP system with their platforms, and they struggled to work with vendors directly on this effort.
Upon researching the options currently available for integration services, it became apparent that ERP integration typically involves a large one-time cost for an integrator tool followed by additional costs for implementation services. Setup is drawn out over weeks and months, with any changes to the system requiring additional cost and time. This was not a viable solution. Confident in my abilities, I moved away from consulting, focusing all of my attention on ERP integration. I formed a team of like-minded, skilled individuals, creating Alluvia. We at Alluvia believed there was a better, more cost-effective method – a universal integrator. This became the focus of our work.
ERP integration work should not have to be recreated multiple times for different clients. The same work can be generated on a flexible platform to allow for the nuances and slight variations between connections in such a way as to enable all of our clients to use the same tool – without hard-coded elements. Each piece created to fit the needs of all, rather than one. This would slash the cost, making integration across multiple platforms not only fast, but affordable.
The work done to create Alluvia was not easy, and our work continues. But we believed it was possible, and we refused to give up on this belief. As new features and possibilities are discussed, “no” is never an option. It always comes back to a question of “how.” While our competition sticks with the old business model and refuses to change, we at Alluvia look to the future with a forward-thinking mindset. We are focused on the long-term, providing a low-cost integrator for the masses. We look forward to meeting your needs every step of the way.
